My name is Amie Ledford and I have recently moved to Baltimore, Maryland! My journey in photography has been pieced together bit by bit one step at a time. I am continually evaluating what I want to be when I grow up and how I can learn something new. Each part of this journey has proved to be full of growth. I started this journey by studying child / family development and photojournalism at The University of Georgia. When I graduated I got a job as an administrative assistant and a coordinator of a college intern program. I was young, newly married and didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I later went on to get a Masters of Fine Arts in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design. I have played many roles in this job and have loved each one: college photography professor, teacher, intern and photographer. It always comes back to my love for imagery, working with people, and striving to be better each day. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and see my work. I hope to talk to you soon!
And if you are interested in a few random details about me:
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 10 years! He is the love of my life and best friend.
We have two amazing children that keep me on my toes and always have me laughing! And oh my goodness, trying to keep my house clean with these two energetic beans is like trying to brush your teeth while eating Oreos!
My dog Lucy (below) is one of my best buddies and is always at my feet. She's my work sidekick.
I love (ok like!) running, reading, anything outdoors, baking, art, and am a novice gardener. Oh, and one day I might want to be a farmer. We would consider having a dairy cow named 'Meat Treat.' (And if you were wondering, that is because my husband loves meat and me not so much so meat at our house is a 'treat!')
